Is on the victoria Embankment, near Blackfriars Bridge. It was established by the Corporation under Act of Parliament in 1834. The building as it now stands was completed in 1883. Boys are admitted between the ages of 7 and 15, and forms for admission, with all other information, can be obtained from the Secretary. The charge for each pupil £12 12s. a year up to the age of 12, and after that £15 15s. a year. The School has in its gift many valuable scholarships tenable both at the School itself and at the Universities.
