So you think the EU doesn't control much?

Can you see anything that they've left out? The only thing I can see is defence and that's not for want of trying. So far, Britain has always vetoed any attempt to make the EU responsible for defence – preferring to rely upon NATO – but several EU military forces have still been set up (Eurocorps, EU battlegroup for example).
