Canon FD lenses for sale
Having decided to 'go digital' I have the following Canon equipment for sale:-
- Canon F1 body, serial number 120116 with manual £179 (for more info see below)
- Canon F1 body, serial number 533423 (serviced in 2005) £199
- Power Winder F (single-shot or continuous at 2 frames/sec) £99
This is a really useful accessory which provides a grip and a vertical shutter release as well.

Canon F1 body 120116: shutter speeds
I measured the shutter speeds on this body using a fast photocell and a storage oscilloscope with the results shown in the table. I have no idea how these compare with other cameras of this type.

Canon F1 body 120116: seals
I had a look at the foam light seals on this camera, and found them to be badly decayed. This is normal with a camera of this age.
I replaced the seals in November 2007 using replacements provided in the very good kit sold by Jon Goodman on ebay here.
A test using Ilford HP5+ film showed no light leaks.
